The Process

  • Before the event, the registrar
    • ❶  Creates the event in Driving Evals
      • MotorsportsReg? Just pick from a list imported from your MSR calendar
      • For other registration systems, export your registrations and import them into Driving Evals
      • Driving Evals synchronizes the registrations with its user accounts, creating new accounts as needed
      • Imports the registrations and any run group or student/instructor assignments made in the registration system
    • ❷  Makes any adjustments to registrations, days attended, additions, cancelations, etc.
    • ❸  Make or adjust run group assignments and/or student/instructor pairings (optional)
    • ❹  E-mail assignments to the instructors so they can review their students' logbook (optional)
    • ❺  Pair novices with student mentors/buddies & e-mail them (optional)
  • Event occurs
    • Use printed assignment sheets, rosters, packet labels, name tags & solo sign-off sheets (optional)
  • After the event
    • ❶  Emails are automatically sent to the participants asking them to complete their evaluations
    • ❷  Reviewees receive e-mails when they've been reviewed
    • ❸  Organizers read reports, adjust evaluations, write additional logbook entries, as desired/needed
    • ❹  More pestering until the evaluation period closes.
    • ❺  Event closes
    • ❻  Organizers receive an e-mail notice to read the reports
    • ❼  Logbook summaries are automatically uploaded back to MotorsportReg (optional)
